Organizing for joy
Traditional corporations, particularly large-scale service and manufacturing businesses, are organized for efficiency. Or consistency. But not joy.

Build relationships. Build trust. Take time to appreciate what is working well and help people see how their individual contribution is important to attaining the ultimate goal. Listen. People want to know that what they do for a large part of their lives makes a difference. That is joy and it’s infectious.
